Diagnosis and treatment evolution of a complex asymmetrical anomaly in mixed dentition

Abstract

Through this case study, we aim to communicate our methodology regarding clinical and paraclinical examination and the development of a treatment plan tailored to the patient's diagnostic needs. This approach, which we no longer consider early intervention, was guided by the principles of comprehensive orthopedics we have developed in our clinic, allowing us to transform an asymmetrical anomaly into a symmetrical one. In parallel with balancing masticatory function, we promoted the growth and development of the jaws to achieve a functional occlusion appropriate for the patient's age.
