Abstract
Distalization techniques. Have they improved their efficiency?
The distalization of the posterior sectors has been a good alternative to avoid extractions and solve the different malocclusions (Class II, Class III and Biprotrusion). Over time, numerous devices, fixed or removable, have emerged to achieve it. The advent of temporary anchorage devices (miniplates and miniimplants) made it possible to challenge Newton's third law (action and reaction), and thus prevent or minimize unwanted effects such as loss of anchorage. The objective of this monograph is to briefly describe the different distalization techniques that exist, expose the new methods that have emerged in recent years, and review the different publications in order to establish whether the efficiency of distalization with anchoring

devices skeletal temporality is superior to that achieved with devices without skeletal anchorage.
