THE Skeletonized activator used in first dentition: deep bite whit crowding and associated disfunctions
Keywords:

The deep bites, known as Deckbiss, show a challenge of treatment in late dentitions because of the consolidation of the biotype, being able to create, in permanent dentition, periodontal alterations, joint related and risk of interproximal caries because of the generated crowding.
Its resolution by means of early treatment in first dentition makes the masticatory system able to be in morphofunctional conditions due to the chronological fase. This changes the correlation of the neuromuscular forces giving the system stimulus of normal growth and development. This, also gives a platform of correct anchorage for the neuromuscular forces and in this way it is established a virtuous circle between shape and function. In this case it is shown how the treatment with direct plates together with the skeletonized activator contribute to this objective.
