Early treatment with direct plate and skeletonized activator

Abstract

The direct plates are an unbeatable resource to make functional the occlusal plane in early ages. They allow us to act modifying the neuromuscular activity from the dental occlusion,getting by this the stimulus of growth and development equilibrated by means of a physiological chewing.

Here we show the evolution of a clinical case with slight morphofunctional alterations which are treated in early stages, the first dentition, with direct plates and the skeletonized activator, they allowed to continue the development in health of the masticatory system.
