Abstract

The following article aims to serve as a brief guide to the application of the currently available documentation methods, such as conventional radiological techniques, cone beam tomography, clinical photography, and the new 3D scanners. Additionally, it discusses several of the previous requirements to take into consideration and alternative means of presenting the records, such as the the possibility of receiving it digitally. Finally, it considers some of the legal precautions necessary at the time of requesting copies.
