Combined orthopedic-orthodontic treatment of the Class II in a pre teenager patient

Abstract

The skeletal anomalies in patients with a history of hypothyroidism are more severe due to the lability of the biological field and the neurologic immaturity that happens because of this illness installed in the first childhood. In this case we present the diagnosis and evolution of the treatment in a class ll patient, frist skeletal with functional alterations, in the pre adolescent stage.

There were followed three therapeutic phases,functional mechanical remodelator (RMF), twin blocks and finalization with multi braces therapy. it is presented a distance control in the year 2022.
